Fitness required - Walks Grade 3 – Bushwalking experience recommended but not necessary.
Sections of track may be long and rocky and on the edge of coastal cliffs.

This trip is only being offered to walkers that have completed the Aussie Camino section in the Limestone Coast SA with Walk the Limestone Coast.

ITINERARY
Arrival - Saturday 2nd May - Arrive in Portland at accommodation Victoria House
You can check in at Victoria House anytime from 2pm and have a look around. There is an evening church service at 6pm at Portland Catholic Parish a short walk from our accommodation for those that are interested.
If you are intending on going to the service please meet in the lounge area of our accommodation at 530pm.
Evening debrief for the walk will be in the lounge area at 7pm after the service.
Dinner - I suggest you eat at your convenience, each room has a microwave, fridge, plates bowls and cutlery. There is a communal BBQ that you can cook on but that is the only cooking facilities on site. There are many eateries nearby and supermarket.
Day 1 - Sunday 3rd May - Cape Nelson - 12km Approx. 3.5 hours
Nyamat Mirring (sea country)
Spectacular sea cliffs with dramatic views over the Southern Ocean we walk through the aptly named Enchanted Forest a hushed magical grotto. The path heads inland slightly then back to the coast finishing at Cape Nelson lighthouse built in 1882.
Dinner, I will book us into a pub for dinner tonight..
Day 2 – Monday 4th May - Cape Bridgewater 9km Approx. 3 hours
Cape Bridgewater, one of my favourite coastal walks. You will enjoy sensational cliff-top walking, seal colonies, a petrified forest, ocean blowholes and remote rugged coastline, the views are glorious!
Head back to Portland, choose your own adventure for dinner.
Day 3 – Tuesday 5th May - Mount Richmond 12km Approx. 4 hours
Woorrowarook Mirring (Forest Country)
Today we walk through forest habitat from Bridgewater Lakes to the top of Mount Richmond a dormant volcano, you may see a koala!
Head back to our accommodation for our last night together, dinner at the pub.
You will need to bring or purchase provisions for your own meals. There is a supermarket in Portland a short walk from accommodation.

Please note: If weather conditions make coastal walking unpleasant, a different route will be walked.
