Please note: We will need to car pool to start/end of walk, you may be asked to use your car. 

ITINERARY - Nyamat Mirring (sea country)

Day 1 - Friday 21st March - Arrive in Portland

You can check in at Victoria House anytime from 2pm and have a look around. We will all meet in the communal lounge area for a debrief at 7pm.

Day 2 - Saturday 22nd March - Whites Beach to Cape Bridgewater - 14.5km Approx. 4.5 hours

After dropping a vehicle at Cape Bridgewater we transfer to the start of the walk at Whites Beach. You will enjoy sensational cliff-top walking, seal colonies, a petrified forest, ocean blowholes and remote rugged coastline, the views are glorious!

Head back to Portland, opportunity to view Gannet Colony prior to heading out to local pub for dinner.

Day 3 – Sunday 23rd March - Cape Nelson to Enchanted Forest 12km Approx. 4 hours

This morning we head to Cape Nelson, here we walk around the lighthouse built in 1882 and enjoy another rugged coastal walk. Spectacular sea cliffs with dramatic views over the Southern Ocean. Finishing at the aptly named Enchanted Forest a hushed magical grotto. 

Drive home.

Ambulance cover or travel insurance recommended.

You will need to bring provisions for your own breakfasts, lunch and snacks. There is a supermarket in Portland a short walk from accommodation.
