Some places feed and inspire the soul…
Bellwether is one of those places, a place that links nature, art, music, fresh produce and nostalgia.
The retreat is based at Bellwether, a sensitively renovated 1868 historical rustic shearing shed. Where you’ll experience the boutique winery, cellar door, produce garden and campgrounds. Located on Pinechunga country, Coonawarra, on the Limestone Coast, S.A. this is the land of beautiful redgums and underground aquifers.
Sue Bell the owner, and creative wine maker, crafts with climate appropriate grape alternatives and classics from Coonawarra and Wrattonbully. Wine made in small batches of high-end fruit, using indigenous yeast and gently handled to amplify fragrance, quality tannins and complex texture.
